Sephora is a leading global beauty retailer offering an extensive selection of makeup, skincare, fragrance, and haircare products from the world’s most coveted brands.

What we executed:
The Challenge.
Sephora Canada, a global leader in beauty retail, sought to elevate its annual Holiday Media Preview, a private, digital-first experience for top Canadian media and influencers to explore Sephora’s curated holiday lineup and submit personalised PR wishlist requests. Traditionally hosted on Squarespace, the platform had reached its limitations in flexibility, design precision, and data insights.
Working alongside Middle Child PR, Sephora turned to Elite Digital to reimagine the experience from the ground up. The challenge was to create a custom-built, React-based micro-site that could deliver the seamless polish expected from Sephora’s brand while offering enhanced accessibility, interactivity, and tracking capabilities.

Our Approach
Elite Digital began by grounding the project in an understanding of the end user, mapping key intents and behaviours across the journey to identify what would matter most at each step. With that lens in place, the team reviewed previous Sephora Holiday Media Preview micro-sites to pinpoint the elements that performed well and should be refined and carried forward into the 2025 experience. From there, Elite developed a flexible template system for product pages that maintained visual consistency while giving each feature room to feel distinct and engaging.
Building on the “Glimmer” concept, Elite looked for opportunities to joyfully surprise users through subtle motion, layered visuals, and interactive touches that reinforced the campaign’s festive spirit. Throughout the process, simplicity and intuitiveness guided every design and development decision, ensuring smooth navigation and a seamless experience across all devices.

The Sephora Holiday Media Preview 2025 micro-site brings the campaign to life through elegant layouts, playful motion, and a visual rhythm that mirrors the festive energy of the season.
Built on a custom React framework, the site delivers a fluid, responsive experience optimised for accessibility, performance, and precision. The structure was designed to support bilingual content, ensuring seamless transitions between English and French while maintaining brand consistency. On the backend, Elite integrated advanced analytics and click tracking to capture meaningful engagement data, including interactions with product fact sheets and wishlist submissions.
